Rick is a relationship management specialist with expertise in strategic planning, issue management, public engagement and managing complex community relationships. He has worked extensively in both the private and public sectors with agriculture, environment, and oil and gas organizations, in the areas of range management, environmental farm planning and stakeholder engagement.
Rick has a strong focus on grassroots group development initiatives, effective engagement on contentious issues and developing strategic approaches for sustainable solutions. Actively involved in the formation of several multi-stakeholder groups across the province, he is known for networking across various industry and agency sectors and facilitating strategic, synergistic approaches to addressing community and environmental issues.
Rick lives in the Rocky Mountain House area with his wife Ila and provides consulting services, workshops and strategic advice to landowners, organizations and industry relating to negotiation, public engagement, group development, conflict management and integrated land use.
